Corporate Financial Ratios
IRS Corporate Financial Ratios and the Industry Spotlight series are based on the most recently available income statement and balance sheet data compiled by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Department of the Treasury. Schonfeld & Associates has transformed raw IRS data into sets of financial ratios which are commonly used in business planning, financial analysis and credit evaluation.
The data is based on the relatively uniform standards imposed by the Internal Revenue Service and focuses on the comparison of financial ratios for companies with and without net income. The contrast between profitable and unprofitable companies highlights which ratios are critical in the achievement of financial success.
